We are family

Dome Traffic is a Branch of Dome Security and Dome Contracting coming about as a result of clients asking us to provide Traffic Management requirements at Concerts, Shopping Centre’s and Motor Racing Events. It has steadily grown also working for various construction and road maintenance companies in the Melbourne area. Domes ability to diversify and utilize security or event staff into other roles such as traffic control at intersections or roadways when needed without having to go outside the Dome structure has not only been highly successful but also cost saving for the clients, we are providing a service for.

Our Culture

Although small in size, Dome Traffic has rapidly gained a reputation for providing the highest quality service through its dedicated staff, all of whom are committed in providing a quality service to its clients. Domes culture has been established on teamwork and forged on friendships which have been critical in the retention of personnel, defying the high staff turnover often experienced within the various industries.

This culture has led to Dome Traffic experiencing steady growth since commencing its operation in 2010. Whilst other companies rapidly grew in size, often through mergers and acquisitions, Dome in a strategic decision elected to remain its own entity, believing that its method of delivery and execution fulfilled a need that the market demanded.

The decision has proven successful for Dome Traffic and is evident by its long list of high-profile clients. Dome has consistently held contracts with many of its clients in excess of 8 years, evidence of Domes consistent delivery of service.

Dome has and continues to provide personnel who are experienced who are exceptional in the ongoing training programs being offered to its personnel ensuring that all Dome personnel remain current in their qualifications and training applicable to the industry. Within our organization we have our own qualified trainers who have completed extensive training courses through fully accredited training companies who have the necessary credentials to complete the certified courses required to stay current in Traffic Management, First Aid and traffic management planning.

Dome Security was founded in 1978 by Fred Reinking. Fred was a member of the Victoria Police Force for 25 years also in the Traffic Control Division drawing upon his extensive experience in the formation and operation of Dome Security. Fred has over 35 years’ experience in the Traffic / Security Service Industry and is a proven Manager with the highest respect to safety and quality. He is on the Traffic Management Emergency Coordination Centres for major events and oversees the day to day running of Dome Traffic. He does not differentiate on the job size, client or location. All Clients are as equally important to Dome Traffic’s continued success.

Debra Brown

Operations Co-Ordinator & Administration Manager

Debra has over 15 years experience in coordinating the day to day operations and administration for both Dome Traffic and Dome Security. Her knowledge of the industry and excellent client relationship skills ensure Dome Traffic is running efficiently. Debra ensures all traffic staff are up to date on their qualifications from their Traffic Management accreditation to their industry white cards.

Excellent client relationship ensures projects are executed efficiently.
